And like the asteroids who killed the dinosaurs ... there will be more! That's the tragedy, no matter how often we complain about nice guys and their endless threads, they keep them coming...forever... 
Please don't let there be any more "nice guys" threads.

Totally agree. Get a section for "nice vs bad guys" and "black & white" dating and be done with it. That way we can finally avoid those topics that have worn very very very very very thin.

I don't get why some guys insist on using "nice guy" as a descriptor. Nice is such a boring word. Certainly you can find better ways to describe yourselves.

As for the PG13...unless you want to pay for membership here, we have to do this because of the advertisers Yes, because these topics get posted over and over and over and over and over and over and so on. Difficult to ignore if there are x amount of similar/the same topics on one page. The other day there were at least 5 topics named "sex". Same with "black & White dating" BS. On top of that there's usually a lot of "moved" links. All in all sometimes makes it difficult to see the interesting, nice threads. Plus all these repetitive threads and "moved' links, push the good threads of the 1st page way too fast, meaning they don't get the attention they could've gotten. If there's a reason why most ppl get to Mingle, are active for a month, maybe 2, then leave, maybe there's your answer. Just a handful that stays for longer than a few months. After 1, 2 months it's all the same topics over and over |

A lot leave because they expect instant dates and get impatient. I'm a mod and check into most threads, but doesn't mean I have to read everything. I bypass topics that don't interest me very easily and have even before I became mod. The back button comes in handy for me with boring topics. As far as moved topics, they get moved because they are posted in the wrong forum to begin with. We would rather not move them |
