Because we have attached our hearts to those we love, and if that attachment is broken...it hurts :(. There's more, but that's the basics of it. I'm sorry that you are hurting.

Because "love" is all about heart ,emotions and these are very soft and delicate part of every individuals and so tend to hurt even in case of a minor jerk or disturbance to them. and it will continue to be so because if it does not hurt then it is not "LOVE"
