Hi JSH,

What do you think about "Thread Killers"? I know that many of you would like to engage in serious talks up on JSH, but your threads get deluded by silly people who don't know when to be serious, and when to be silly. I've decided to call these people thread killers.

I like having fun (just ask Bonny), but I also know how to be respectful of a particular thought, or topic when it is brought up. In real life (for me) if you are a time waster (Thread Killer) you don't get very far. There's too much to do in life to have to teach adults how to be adults.

Personally I don't buy into the "it's the internet" excuse. I think that Thread killers have a personal problem and they need therapy, or a good spanking. I said good spanking on purpose just to see if these people can resist making a silly comment. If you wish to be a thread killer why don't you stay in threads that are not trying to do something constructive. Is it really that hard for you to resist being destructive instead of productive?

What do you think JSH? Why don't we make up our mind to call it like it is? Come on "Thread Killer" show your maturity level. Nows your chance!!!! If you want to walk around JSH being labeled as someone who doesn't know how to be grown up once in a while that is up to you.

Try being an adult, who knows, you might like it for a change.

Michael...

So many people just want to play here and I think find it very hard to be serious...even when it calls for it. I find myself sometimes too serious and find it very frustrating when threads are hijacked. I just walk away and try not to let it bother me so much. Isn't this supposed to be fun?

Interesting Michael...

From your post...it appears that you are asking for people to stay on topic...completely to 'remain with all limbs within the vehicle at all times'...

and yet, you are actually singling out those that may lighten a thread, especially when ego's are flaring, and the thread has devolved from mature debate, to a slanging match...

Brevity, joyfulnesss, playfulness, and heart are all wonderful things, and show more shades to the person.

I simply refuse to have my inner child be less...ever...and if I am disruptive in a thread..and am told so by the OP, and others...I will respectfully leave the thread.

I wonder how your partner feels about your post, for she too has a shining inner child, and a natural playfulness.

I'm a thread killer, look at all the ones I've posted in that nobody replies too. But try to skip serious threads because people are too damn serious, to the point that if I poke them they will explode.

Oh btw, I do goto therapy grumble

I totally agree with you Michael, and no for others who think I'm only agreeing with Michael because....................Yes thread killers, you do have a serious problem. I have witnessed threads that have been killed off by the actions of irresponsible significant adults. There is a forum for "chit-chat" here, go use it, I do when I am in a playful mood and yes, I do get into minx mode every now-and-again, nothing wrong with that, but I respect and recognize a serious thread when I see one. Thanks for highlighting this.

I understand what your saying Michael. The sad thing is that even if we post about it or tell them what there doing is wrong.. some people will never change and some just like being that way. This is why you want see me on many threads. You can start a topic and most will take it into another direction or turn it into a game.. Hmm as you said there is a time for being silly and a time for being a little serious. I've always respect others post and there opinions of what there trying to share. Yeah sometimes I I joke on the threads but like said it's knowing when to and when not

Jess, there is no bigger practical joker than Michael ( that I know of ) I do have an inner child that gets let out every now and again ( check some of the threads I posted into earlier) I was well away with the posting of funny pics today. I LOVE life and laughter, and sure I agree with you ( not picking on you here, you do know that) we all need to let our hair down at some point in time, but as you can see at the moment I cannot do a damned thing with my hair.

I can be one of the most mischevious imps you will encounter online. I do try to keep that for the topics that arent serious. I also can be serious. It all depends on my mood, the topic, and the mood that I sense from the postings. There is a lot of love, laughter, and smiles on here. Also a lot of support for when its needed. Sometimes a goofy comment in a serious thread is what is needed to lessen tension.

but this is all just my own opinionflowerforyou

Hi JSH,

This is good. I am very interested in what people think. I don't care where each stand, just curious to know.

I will say though that I find being a serious adult as much fun as being a kid.

I do hope that some of the "Thread Killers" come up.

hmmm

Life is serious enough....why should I have to be serious on here? This is my time to relax and enjoy myself... i'm quite sure nothing said on here will bring harm to anyone, and if it does you need to disconnect your modem.

A little lightening up if peoples tempers are flaring, but ya I can see what M means. I've been a thread killer myself I guess. Maybe I should be spanked. I hate therapy.....

I have a hard time being serious on this site most of the time, I must admit. I like to laugh too much and life is serious enough as it is.
