 I think ALOT of people on here may view SOMEONES
post as BAD so THEY didn't like it BUT then the next person to look see's that its been put up for deletion and JUST JUMPS on the band wagon W?O really READING the post....

And as far as TOPIC of a post,,the POSTER has there JOB to do to MAINTAIN there direction to how and WHERE thEIR post goes in
conversation,,,and MANY start one then LEAVE it, so no one is really watching its direction...

This is what I have seen, But I am sorry about your deletion MG and You are right as to GOOD and FUN,,,and PLAY and who cares???

its' hard to keep myself serious
even when i start a thread that for me is serious
when people i know come along, and start being playful.
shame on me.

I would like to add a train of thought..and I know the old'If you don't like it, don't go there' comes into play.

Life is serious most times...people's lives are filled with major stressors...with or without their professions coming into it.

I know may paramedics, doctors, nurses, fireys, emergency trauma workers, counsellors, people who work in humanities, that have such intense jobs.

When they come home, they dont want to watch nasty traumatic stuff on tv, they dont want to think about it for an hour or two..they want to blow off steam..and have a laugh...

and if they do see it, in their time off..will often try to lighten the atmosphere, with a one liner, a joke, a silly comment...to break the tension.

We are all expected to follow forum rules, as guests here on this site...but the whole site in it's entirety is owned by two people...if 'Stay on topic' was to be mandatory, it would be included in the forum rules..

I think the first mandate of furum rules is be respectful... says it all, in any post anyone makes.

Very TRUE Jess, but also would THAT respect mean to SEE or say hello to the ones who speak?
I have seen many new pps say something in a thread and get over looked, then they get withdrawn and lose interest in posting?
But no forum rules state that we have to say HI to EVERYONE who makes a reply to a post..
But hell, Respect is always what we ALL would like to have, but DON'T get much of it?

I think the basic protocol is not observed here sometimes, we all agree that some joviality is sometimes necessary. I do not want to go into too much detail here Jess ( will send you mail  )

LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. don't be coming on to JSH and tell everyone how to do things. i have had some people get me flustered HARDCORE. now i BARELY post on here anymore due to the fact that i drive taxi and i barely sleep. instead of being on here replying or joking around i am trying to sleep.
so quite simple i remember about 6 to 8 months ago someone else tried to "control" how threads were. that person is no longer on here due to that fact. last i had heard from that person they were banned for "inticing an arguement over a thread". so mg1959 i would watch what toes you step on on here. to all of the gals that are on here these are for you.flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

HEY DAMNIT,,I read you and I see where YOU are coming from,
and Their are alot of pps here who will agree to the same reasons as you..Some can't or don't want to go very deep into ANY threads as it takes them out of the FUN or NICE thoughts and MAKES them go into SOME bad lifes experiences, that make it
NOT A GOOD TIME.... drinker
But to m, we have FUN threads and real threads, and very sad threads, and WE ALL have the power to REP:Y to ANY or ALL that WE feel are cool or one that we just want to vent a little in but NOT maintain being ALL the way through it..
Nothing wrong with any of that...

Hi JSH,

Sometime you might want to do a little study on threads in the past. 5 months ago you could engage in a topic for 5,6, or even 7 pages with intelectaul stimulation. You could at the same time jump to a thread that was full of laughter, and nothing but. I enjoyed doing both (it's what attracted me to JSH). Now it's not quite as balanced.

I decided to put this thread up to see where JSH is at. I'm still wondering. It's good to have a mix, but what I wanted to know is "Is it a good thing to mix it up?". Mike, and Van have added new forums. This says something to me. They are building a site that allows people to have more space. This is a very good thing. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

Here's what I recommend. Thread killers, give JSH a chance to develop into different categories. In the long run you will see that there will be a very nice balance, and a place for everyone, and every mood. I for one am looking forward to seeing the internet as a whole become more balanced. On JSH, we can work together to make this special place always stay special.
