Ive been on this site for awhile now and it seems like people are hard to chat with or even meet..i thought this was a place to chat and meet people...or is something wrong with me?

JP's point is that you meet and make more friends by being active in the forums. People who only send msgs and nudges don't usually get very far. So explore the forums and have fun.

It may not be what is wrong with you.. rather.. what is wrong with society. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. And we could knock on the door and have coffee and chat at anytime.. we were welcome with open arms. I moved to Florida in 1972. Only once had a nice neighbor who would act like those did so many years before. I am finding a lot of folks here just want to look, stare, nudge and not really know anyone. A lot of them have no picture, wear sunglasses or from other countries. They should just go to the beach and stare ... In my area no one.. not anyone is ever on line.. that tells me a lot right there. I suggest going to the community, get to know others there... Remember.. a lot of ladies do not like a man with a bad mouth... Be impolite one time and they will remember you for sure.. one to avoid. Good luck.

Well, I've been a member for a month and confess this is the first time I've even looked at the posts, but have shared the experiences you describe. I have contacted dozens of people on their profile, always with something, I hope, interesting or tempting, and either get ignored completely, which I think is extremely rude, or we develop what appears to be a promising relationship, but as soon as I suggest a meet, they vanish.
My other gripe is that when you look through lists of profiles, eighty percent haven't logged on for over a month. A shame the website owners don't erase these people after a set time. |

I didn't even read what you wrote yet....that number under Your pic is a 1. 1 post...really? This is your first post... Join the discussions and try to let people get to know you. you can't just hit peoples email or mail box people are nervous about creepers these days people want to get to know you, see what you like to talk about, how you treat others, in the forum discussions at least that's my opinion |
