I walk these streets one last time,
Searching for a sign.
Something to keep me from losing my mind.
But what am I really looking for?
Perhaps the key to an unopened door.

The meaning behind it is somewhat spiritual. All of us feel lost at some point in our life. Like something is missing. We try so hard to figure out what it is, and we get frustrated a long the way. But we shouldn't give up hope! We should go down that same path over and over, until we decide that enough is enough, and we're going to find what we're missing. And by finding it, we'll be happy once again. Whole!

Very true indeed! I think I'm on the millionth trip down that road and I still don't know what I'm looking for. Although my daughter found me just this April after 35 years! That's the most wonderful thing that's happened to me in about 35 years!

Thanks for all of your nice comments! Lost, that is AWESOME! Yeah, my brother was adopted right after he was born (my mom was real young when she had him), and he just found her after 40+ years 3 yrs. ago. It's so amazing when things like that happen! God is so great!
