Have you ever been jealous of an insignificant other but don't think they are cheating? Have you ever been jealous of their child? What is the difference between cheating and jealousy for you?

Jealously and cheating are two entirely different things Trout,,,The only similarity they share is both can destroy a relationship....Pretty safe to assume everyone experiences feelings of jealousy from time to time...It's the cause and how you handle it that matters...If your partner is neglecting the relationship in favor of time spent with children, it's natural to feel some resentment and maybe even jealously, but the problem does not lie with the child, it lies with you and your partner....Explain your feelings privately, in a non confrontational way...What ever you do, do not project them on to the child....

Jealousy is a useless emotion, if the person is cheating, break up with them. In regards to being jealous of someone's kid, I don't know what to say about that; I don't date guys with kids, but if I did, I can't imagine ever being resentful of the time he spent with them...
