Or what if it's already always been the time? The best, most persuasive teachers of their religion or belief live by example and attract the questions and attention of those who sometimes convert to their way of living. I think it's safe to say that Jeannie is already living in such a way that she attracts that attention. Perhaps she has thus been engaged in the act of evangelism this whole time! xD

I find it enough of a challenge to practice the presence and live in the moment. There is nothing to fear. The act of faith is to accept what is and live in serenity.

God or gods are a man made being or beings used to explain the unknown.
It also makes for a great fictional story.

Well this is true, especially in most religions.
People tend to think of "God" as something or someone greater than themselves.

I don't think that there being a God explains anything. They still don't know quite HOW this God actually created everything. So the unknown is still unknown even if there is a God creating everything.

I think the meaning of being "God realized" is the realization that you are God.

To be "self realized" is to realize that "Self" is the same as "God."

Of course some atheists claim that "self" is an illusion, and so is "free will."

I believe in the supreme being called God. It is far easier to believe in an all powerful being than to believe the universe just happened. Seriously, have you looked at the big bang theory? Ludicrous....jmo

I don't believe that the universe just happened, or that it happened "on accident" and the "big bang" is something that happens all the time at the quantum levels.

I do believe that all is one, and somehow it is creative and intelligent and I am connected to that and at the core of my own existence I AM THAT. (As we all are)

This makes sense to me:

Since humans have no way of knowing how the universe originated they propose THEORIES. Some are scientific theories. Some are god theories. Many claim to KNOW what they only theorize or they accept what others (ancient or contemporary) claim to know.

In the conduct of my life it makes absolutely no difference how the universe came to be. To those who say, "You will see after you die", I respond "There is no assurance that the proposed 'afterlife' exists or that humans possess a 'soul' that transcends death. Those are just more theories / beliefs that cannot be verified. Believe what you want but you waste your time telling me unverifiable opinions."

You are absolutely right.

What is God? What is man? E= MC squared. All matter broken down is compost of energy. I think God is some kind of self rejuvenating energy, that is beyond my level of understanding. I think man is an Ovum, an unfertilized egg that will live threescore and ten then die, unless it gets fertilized. Without being fertilized by god's spirit we could not live happily ever after anyway.
