Hmmm. Off the top of my head

Salvador comes to mind. Philosophy of a knife. Audition. Cannibal Holocaust. Irreversible.

Theres a few I haven't seen yet such as Salo and A Siberian film. Maybe Torgo will have a few also.

it'd help if we knew the name of the film you're talking about.many years ago there was a pirate film called faces of death, actual fatalities caught on camera as they happened..not very nice

Faces of Death was hilarious...lol

Most of them just have the endless circle of BS and debate going on. asleep

I thought Human Centipede was more icky than disturbing.

A Serbian Film is definitely one of the more recent disturbing films I've watched.

I find these to be very disturbing, for me any ways-

Cannibal Holocaust
Men Behind The Sun
In A Glass Cage
Subconscious Cruelty
Nekromantik 1 and 2
August Underground Mordum
Combat Shock
Angst (1983)
Tenderness Of The Wolves

agree that by today's standard of what you can see on the internet'faces of death' may not be anything you can't see on you tube but 30 years ago it was pretty original and disturbing.

I own men behind the sun and couldn't take it seriously bc amazon lied and said there were subtitles... It was dubbed and was more funny than anything... Except the cat scene :( yeah pretty sure rotten.com was more disturbing than faces of death and that's comparing a few pics to a few movies! Haha ! Looks like I've got some movies to check out! No one has mentioned I spit on your grave yet lol

I'm not into real footage, but when I was younger I hunted down all the disturbing films I could find. Pre-Internet, Faces Of Death was supposedly the real footage film to watch, then sometime in the 80's it came out that the majority of it was staged. I was both mad and relieved, mad because I was mislead, and relieved that most of the stuff I watched wasn't real.

Now, Traces Of Death is 100% real.

Yes, the original I Spit On Your Grave.

There's also the Japanese Guinea Pig series.

I also thought Deadgirl was disturbing given the subject matter.

Yeah, bad dubbing can make the most serious films laughable.

Yes, anything with real animal cruelty is too much for me. Besides Cannibal Holocaust, there's Jungle Holocaust aka Last Cannibal World, Make Them Die Slowly, Wild beasts - Belve feroci .

You definitely couldn't make a film like A Serbian Film over here that's for sure.
