I'm the first unbeliever of long distance relationships, cyber dating. It just does not fit my standards.
I've learnt to do it, with somebody extra special who walks within these JSH walls. She has taught me to believe that love and friendship goes beyond physical interaction.
However, i never imagined how much hurts when somebody who you have never seen or heard passes away.
I'm absolutely shaken by this feeling, my little mind never could visualize that I could care so much for a friend with whom I just communicate through email or IM.
Today I realized one more time how close minded I am. Pure love and friendships, and the fact that energy and love know no boundaries.

Yes...Friendships can be born through any medium...as long as you have a heart and soul where love can resonate...flowerforyou  flowerforyou

There is nothing separate ... we truly are all one. What affects one affects us all...if only we, as a people ... as a humanity ... 'got' it ... the world would be a more peaceful place.

Your friend is still with you ... she just changes forms. Be still. That place inbetween ... in between thoughts, in between breaths... that quiet ... that stillness ... that is where you will find her...

She lives in you ... as you live in her

WE ARE ALL ONE

WE ARE ALL ONE
WE BELONG TO A FAMILY
WE ARE HERE TO SHARE
LEARN AND HELP EACH OTHER
TO FIND THE TRUTH WHICH
IS THE FABRIC OF LOVE WHICH IS
IN EACH AND EVER ONE OF US
WHICH RUNS THROUGH ALL
EACH IN A DIFFERENT DEGREE
AS TO WHO WE ARE

Even though we have not met each other, well a few of the JSH members have met, we talk on here in the forums and learn about each other and it is almost like we have become a family. Then when one of the "family" gets hurt or in this case passes away, it is almost like one of our own family died. I don't know about anyone else, but I spend more time on here than I do with my own family and I think it is only natural that we feel the loss deeply, they have become a part of us, our extended family. It is normal to feel grief when this happens.

I understand how you are feeling Miguel, we lost a member many months ago, maybe before your time on here, "Lonelyteardrop" and she had a beautiful heart and soul too, was only on her for a few months. But she touched many people through her poetry and in the forums. Grief is a natural part of life, and JSH has become a second family for some of us, so I think what you are feeling is very normal.

Yes TLW- I too was so shocked at my reaction this morning too.

All though I had never met my friend in person- I was so over

come with grief this morning- I had to go off line for awhile.

Frienship and love for one another grows out of this cyber

world we live in too...

I agree that it is strange how that people can get so connected to one another through only words and a few pictures on a computer screen. I feel like I have lost a family member and I have never even met Sheryl. She went through a lot on this planet but always looked on the brighter side of things. She was a tough cookie that lived her life to the fullest. We will all miss her.brokenheart sad

Very well said, Miguel. This is what I meant about your heart.
