People are only dead when they are forgotten.
So lets remember Sheryl, and in our hearts she will live on.

I posted this in poems as well, and I just put it down off the top of my head. I've reposted it here with a few differences.


She was one of kind a friend to all
When she was here we had a ball
She made me laugh, she made me cry
I can't quite fathom this last goodbye
You're in our thoughts and in our prayers
As you climb up those heavenly stairs
One things for sure where you are now
Our hearts cry out and our heads we bow
If she can see the way we feel
Our love, our thoughts and prayers are real
To you her sons be strong and proud
Your mom sits on a heavenly cloud.
And though she's gone and sadly missed
Her head will be by angels kissed
May God take care of our good friend

Great writing Lex. I had the privledge of chating with Sheryl a few times. FANTASTIC LADY. If poss I will send flowers, can anyone help me with the where & when's.

Balloons will go up in the midwest.

There are so few words to express the feelings.

The only thing I can share is something my Mom told me when I was a little girl about when her father died. He had died on Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath-Friday sundown to Saturday sundown). She said those that die on Shabbat are made instant angels by G-d.

I know Sheryl is an angel now. Like she was here with us.

Balloons will be flying overhead in Charlotte tomorrow when the Gentlemen start their engines at California Speedway.

Rest In Peace Sheryl....

Sherly u are missd sooooooooooooooooo much Ive never met a lady like you, u were a sunshine in Simbas and my life and I will never forget the talks and phone calls we shared, u offered us a beautiful life, your strength and kindness towards others give us all an insperation that will always be remembered by all of us that cared and loved u!!!!!!!!! You left a legacessy that will never be forgotten. I love you!

Jeff Gordon has lost his biggest fan. Sorry to hear about Sheryl passing. I am sure that she will be watching the race from a cushy cloud up there....rooting on her favorite driver.

I always root for Jeff Gordon, but now he'll have a true angel rooting for him from above. Sheryl's got the best seat in the house to watch all the races now. God Speed.

I hope that Jeff wins the race. He will have an advantage with Sheryl up there nudging his car to go faster and shielding him from disaster!!
