I think so because ultimately that is what everybody wants. It is no good finding a "soulmate" if the sex is no good. So I think an intimate encounter is the best way to start off a date. Because you don't want to fall in love with a lame duck.

Sure you can go for sex first, and you might click in the sack, but doesn't mean that you are compatible as partners.

Don't know whether women regularly fall for homosexuals. The only one I ever liked was a very macho one, leather trousers, black clothes, that kind of stuff. Can't help it, I'm a sucker for good looking men in leather trousers, provided they are masculine. To be honest, I actually think that man was not strictly gay.
I don't feel attracted to homosexuals myself. I like the fun, winding up kind of stuff, the buzz and sexual innuendo you get with a hetero sexual man. Can't experience that with a homosexual.

That being said, we all have different preferences. For some, sex isn't a big deal. Making that connection and falling in love first is a bigger deal.

For others, sex is a big deal and they don't want to get into a serious relationship with someone they might not be sexually compatible with.

If we were all the same, everyone would have the same preferences, which we know isn't true.
