I just love making new friends. I had picked up this pillow top mattress and while driving was holding with my left hand. I had tied off the front of the matress with a rope I cut in half. I figured I didn't have far to go so it should be ok. As I was picking up speed the wind was catching the front of the queen size mattress so I stopped several times to let cars pass that were behind me. Made it to this apartment place where this lady has a flea market going on. I thought nothing of it since I had been in there before to buy stuff. I walked a few blocks to a store to get a fifty nylon corded rope to make the rest of three mile trip home. When I got back to my car the lady informs me that this is private property and asked me what I was doing there. I thought uh oh. But I told her that I was securing the mattress so I could make it home. She said ok but could you help my husband with the large dresser to the back of his truck. They were nice folks but sometimes I tend to take things the wrong way. I have found that people get uptight sometimes but that doesn't mean one can't have a good conversation with them.
