I've ask this question before but not like this. Could you date a non drinker? why? Don't say designated driver.

Well, Yes, Who but a drunk would want to date a drunk? It takes a drunk to stand to be with a drunk. Drunks are obnoxious to non drinkers. At least that's been my experience.

There's live music at local bars around here. I go check out local bands often. So, if the person I'm dating doesn't want to drink, that's fine, but if he refused to go anywhere people drank, that would be an issue.

So, if the person I'm dating doesn't want to drink, that's fine, but if he refused to go anywhere people drank, that would be an issue. that not a issue with me, but woman look at me in a weird way when I say I dont and wont drink |

My woman doesn't drink.
I respect that. I do drink. For the sake of the love she gives me...and the good life we share...I am willing to cut back. She is worth it. Don't get me wrong...I will still drink. But I will definitely cut aside more time for her. She puts up with me. I gotta respect her. |

I don't drink at all, I am allergic to alcohol. I don't mind if someone drinks but I do mind if they get sloppy drunk and get sick in my car. I can't handle someone that has to drink every single day, I want to be able to go out and be with someone that does not feel like they have to drink to have a good time.
If someone won't date me because I don't drink...I think THEY have a problem, not me!! |

This ^^^^  But I'll want a beer or two while watching the game too. I don't see the problem with that, but if he's not comfortable with that, I'll use the Pepsi koozie if it makes him feel any better.

It would be great, because then I wouldn't have to deal with peer pressure about not drinking. If someone chooses to drink, it's up to them. It shoukdn't matter what anyone else does or does not do.
