I guess 1000 French men cant be wrong right? Help, where are my positive responses. I assumed you wanted the truth. Okay this is as positive as it gets. Hang in there, and as long as he doesn't "fall in love" with someone else, maybe you can still be his friend with benefits. But you deserve someone who idolizes you and who is in love with you, and ga ga over you don't you think? |

When a man is inlove with You, he has chemistry for You. Otherwise, he just loves you has a human being. "He is just not into You!"

It simple . You/they want the benefits of a relationship . But you/they don't have the courage to commit .

My own litmus test goes something like this.
Qualifiers: 1. Think of you like family and would do anything for you. 2. Want to rip your clothes off due to lustful feelings. 3. Want to rip your clothes off due to deep intimate feelings, a desire to commit myself completely to you if you feel the same. Results: 1=love 1+2=confusion 1+2+3=in love |

Ok let me explain lol.. Whenever money is attached to a single 'act' of love, you know there's a problem. If you're in love with someone then offering money for an 'act' of sexual passion isn't even considered. There ya go! That's about as well-versed as I get. (Basically, Goof was telling a funny...) |

Loving someone is like loving your friends or family. Being "in love" with someone is totally different feeling. It's almost like a high.

personally, I think 'in love' is an idealistic state we have been trained to believe when our body has certain 'physical/emotional' reactions to someone,, however fleeting
I think true 'in love' for me , requires a mutual effort, not a one way feeling, two people are in love or they aren't and if two people are 'in love' it means they want the best for each other, they wish happiness and health for each other, and they want to be a part of that best/happiness/and health for their partner 'in love' is not the thing that causes one to not be CAPABLE of functioning or living without another, that , imho, is an obsession/addiction,,, |

It's basically "I like you as nothing more than a friend", but just said with different wording. Where I get confused, is just because you don't want someone, you are suddenly too high maintenance for them, or "only after money", or another excuse the hurt reject may accuse the crush of. If you're obssessing over someone who shows no lustful feelings towards you, then you might aswell move on. Nothing good will come of chasing something that may never happen. If someone YOU weren't really into, wanted YOU in that same way, would you feel creeped out? What if you suddenly found out he was dating someone? How would you react? There's plenty more where he came from. Don't give up, girl.
