if so wich ones and what do you like most about playing?

i play guitar bass,keyboards\pianno just been picking up the last one
over the last two years i allready read and write music so its really a
matter of dynamics and i like the fact and start playing and instanatly
its like im somewere else i like that i can express just raw emotion
through my instrament
and the feeling i get when you nail a song for the first time

what your range? and what styles or genras?

I play flat top guitar, I am self-taught, I enjoy playing tradtional
countrywestern from the 1920's thru the early 1950's.
recently I have been working on some newer music (Willie Nelson) I enjoy
the note insertion into the cordruns, learning to play both has been a
chagallen.

thats cool what got you into playing?

I play guitar banjo a little mandolin.. Harmonica Also I sing and write
lyrics.. I have hundreds of original songs>> WILL

Playing for ten singing for all my life writing as well..WILL

i used to play in a heavy metal band when i was a teen

I sing in my band, still mess with keyboard sounds but not as much. I
want a synth...

I can't/won't sing I play guiar but itsounds like someone threw a cat
into a closet full of guitars. My talent/power lives in words

Nerves

I used to play bass, keyboards and trumpet. Usually not at the same time
lol. Had one of the 1st MIDI capable digital synthesizers, a KORG DW
6000.
The only instrument I still use is my voice.
The last band I was in wasn't yer typical bar band..we didn't have any
original stuff, but we didn't play the usual bar band repetoire lol. We
liked to do the stuff you DON'T hear on the radio cuz those songs were
usually better. The music we played ranged from the Butthole
Surfers(Pepper) to Frank Zappa (Dirty Love and I am the Slime). With a
visit to Steppenwolf(The Pusher)and Bob Seger(Turn the Page). I won't
bore ya's with the rest of the line-up lol.
The thing I like best about it is,. the emotional release when yer
performing for an audience. When you put your heart and soul into what
you're doing, it doesn't matter whether yer doing yer own stuff or doing
covers. To feel the emotion in the words and the music and to be able to
get that across to an audience is ALMOST as good a feeling as sex...

Guitar (Rock -n- roll)!!!!!!!

I play guitar and all I have to say what got me into music was metal and
rock 'n roll.

I play guitar,piano, and the trumpet and a little bit of drums

some times i have to play the skin flute but i hate it lmao......i
gotta get outta that band. 4 real

I sing mostly, and I've been told that I have quite a range...and the
genre changes at my whim

...but I can play piano, drums, violin, trupmet, saxaphone, flute,
coronet, tuba, trombone and clarinet...

wow peachie you almost have the whole brass section under your belt
thats pretty cool........i wish there was a forum were we could here
each other play that would be pretty cool i think.im glad to see so many
musicians here=)
