Where the hell does that leave folks who seek at least someone close to our own age ?
And just what age would that be ?

I prefer dating guys around my own age. 38-50 is usually the range i date . .when im lucky enough to find a date. In my experiance I dont have much in common with the younger guys and many of them either just want to play or the serious ones are ready to start a family . .ive already done that . .ready for grand babies not more of my own. Will I find love? Maybe . . Maybe not. . .but I wont give up .

Morning kids,

It's going to stay in the toilet too, until we learn the word "share" again.

The Me Me Me generation is screwed.

Just about every email I get he's 30 years younger. I have a guy now my sons age emailing me wants a mature woman I must admit he's a charmer. I would never date anyone that much longer but he sure is handsome lol. And the 6 year long distance one he was 12 years older and that went nowhere. So I agree I prefer someone my own age

Hang in there, love will find you when you least expect it. Personally, I want someone close to my own age, so you are much too young for me to be interested. I still find you charming and interesting, I'm sure you will find someone to love. If you lived closer I'd introduce you to some interesting friends/gals I know. smooched

This is a great site to connect with people of all ages, know that you are not alone in your pursuit for finding the love of your life.

I prefer close to my age, although I will go down to 40 if it happens that way.

That is what my problem is....i am unable to find anyone my age....all the ones that are interested in me are half my age and from another country.......

I prefer close to my age to a bit younger. So, mid 30s to late 20s.

Can only speak about what worked for me......Like Penny and some of the others, I was interested in meeting a man close to my age...I few years apart one way or the other....But I never closed my mind or my heart to the possibility of love with someone regardless of their age....I talked to younger men and men my own age (there were not many who were/are olderlaugh laugh ).....When Jerry and I decided to meet in person, I was over the moon....We clicked on line, in email, and on the phone...All that was left of up close and personal and we both wanted to know...We made a plan, we made a promise to remain friends if there was no chemistry, and we went for it....The only way to turn an online possibility into a reality is to agree to meet...No matter the distance, no matter the circumstances, you have to be willing to take that step....

I'm not all that fussy about age but women tend to want different things at different ages.

For me, it is more about mindset. Older men can be immature and younger men can be mature, so I don't really care when someone's birthday is, but how they act!

Some of my best friends are 15 years my senior, and I've had relationships with people on either end f the spectrum (10 years older and 5 years younger). And then my husband's the same age as me, so go figure. lol.

don;t worry much about it - friends I have of all ages
I assume that men are usually looking for someone in their own range

obviously someone who is so young that he is wants to start a family etc....well....been there done that, so to speak

I also fail to see why a woman my age would be attractive to a much younger man??? but whatever

I am not really all that worried about it period

I met guys who are going for older women, because the young ones have run them dry. Meaning, the man can not keep up with the expenses of the ones they date. laugh
It is hard for me to actually meet a Older man, who has any real Money left though.tongue2

Humm it always seems that the guys around my age are either looking for younger or they look 10-15 years older so said the hell with it and went 12 years younger lol And ya know what it did not make a difference... I prefer those no more then 12 years difference but have to have that chemistry or it will be a no go regardless...whoa

I dont mind the age ...used to always be with older..only went with a much younger guy once...disaster..not sure if it was age thing but he was most immature...no money...no respect....no mental rapor...he just looked cute and did nothing other than look cute
