Do you have PM buddies or tend to say what you have to say in open?

How do you compare things like FaceBook to Mingle?

I don't PM at all.i prefer forums myself.

I dont do PM on here, i post in the forums and email some of my friends. On facebook i mostly just reply to posts, but will message friends privately if its something thats more personal.

It's funny I left here three years ago and went to Facebook now I'm back here and rarely on Facebook. I post in the forums usually

You brought up about some guy who was playing some of the girls you know here. I'm glad he was busted BTW. Do you think if he was on the open forums more this would still have happened. I don't know who he was nor do I care to, just interested about how things happen in front of people as apposed to how they happen behind the scenes.

pretty much to see if anyone was still here and for the poem forum. And I've made a couple new friends since I've been back, and I'm enjoying the new talent in the poem forum

There's something about a forum setting that has a sense of home about it. It's got a history both old and new.

I prefer PM's for conversations because it's more private and other people's posts don't interrupt it.

Forums are great for group discussions though, and/or making your opinion heard.

I'm doing really nicely, thanks. I love these breaks where I get to do a lot of work from home. Fun to be able to hang out on mingle and be nosey lol. I've enjoyed the new group of folks that have come along. Seems like the peaceful old and the peaceful new are melding.

:) glad to hear your doing well. Life is always an adventure . .you just gotta try and enjoy the ride. :) . Their are lots of new people who are awesome additions to mingle. Your right about the forums giving people a sense of home. Thats one of the reasons i love mingle.

It's okay, seeing as it's completely free I have to say I'm very impressed and extremely surprised it doesn't have a lot more members.

I mean you can pay like £15 a month for another website or come here and it's free, and a good community.

The Mods have done an excellent job of creating good balance! This keeps mingle in an "easy to live with" Vibe.

I do both, PM for private conversation & forums to put in my 2 cents. My facebook is nothing like here (PG-13) Alot of us mess with each other & bust stones! I use fb mostly for communication with friends who moved out of state. I have 250+ fb friends & know 99% of them having gone to a large school with over 800 grads. I'm happy to have met alot of nice folks here both in the forums & not. Very cool community here

Suppose it's hard for me to communicate with you guys, no offense but you're all a lot older and so have a lot more experience and knowledge with what you want.

I prefer to pm when it comes to serious conversation. Sometimes posting your thoughts(forum) towards someone is like faking your intentions but if no other choice because of the filter then forum is the only way.
Facebook for me is just the way of connecting to friends and relatives. But in terms of finding a good banter, expressing thoughts, giving advice, siting ideas i prefer mingle. Forum is great.

I've chatted with ladies from the forums privately and also with ladies that don't go on the forums. I'm in Scotland and there aren't really any people that go on the forums that live in my area, so the forums have been something that I've just done for friendship, although I came on here for dating. I get mostly scammers contacting me and I don't waste much time replying to them but I've met one woman from this site and I've talked to other ones about possibly meeting up.

I can't really be doing with Facebook and I've only got three friends on there, who are just people that I know from the real world and I don't even talk to them on there.
