or whatever you want to call it. Do you think there is such a thing? How do you think it works.

BTW....I don't believe in it, but I've been in this discussion recently at work and wonder what others thought

Ohhh hell yeah I believe in it.... And it is a great thing to see it come around.... My ex use to always say all he wanted was a one bed room place to live in... After our divorce he ended up having to live in a shed behind his mom's house actually it was the house we had she bought it from us... So yes karma is sweet when you get to see it happen... bigsmile

I never do the revenge thing it eats at ya.... I just wait till Karma does it thing...bigsmile

Karma? Well, I don't believe our good or bad deeds come back to us on some cosmic boomerang. Nor do I believe there's a God watching our every move so he can grant us goodness for goodness or bad turns for our bad actions.

What I do believe is that our attitudes dictate our actions, and our actions in turn dictate our attitudes. Good things happen to people with good attitudes and bad things breed from bad attitudes for several simple and easily explainable reasons. When we have a good attitude we are more enthusiastic in our efforts, and when we fail, we try, try, again. When we have good attitudes it effects the attitudes of those around us who in turn look on us more favorably and are more eager to join in our efforts, encourage our endeavors, and in business....sign our contracts.

When we approach life with a bad attitude, we can only expect to draw other naysayers, pessimists, and chase away those who might otherwise help us pave a way through life.

In short...we reap the life we sow. flowerforyou

Yes i do believe in it. What you do unto others (good/bad) will bounce back at you. It depends on how you treat people.

I believe strongly in consequences, immediate and long term ,,,

karma is a more 'spiritual' term , I guess for consequences

I dont believe in the idea that any bad thing a person does is immediately revisited on that perosn, or that any good thing is either

I think 'karma' is more about the energy that is put out and how it resonates around that person throughout life (not just their body, but their loved ones lives, their community,,etc,,,,)

no, i don't believe in it... to me, karma is just mans way of trying to go good by making themselves think bad things will happen if they do bad... when good/bad things happen, it's because of random chance decided by decisions made in your past.

your at an intersection, and if you turn right, you will find a bag of money, if you turn left, you get hit by a bus and die... neither of those reflect on your past, but of the decision you make at the intersection...

Not only do I believe it but I have seen it many times. I know your not supposed to revel in someones misfortunes but some people just deserve it.

Used to be a huge believer, But as of late I've seen some really cold people getting handed good things in life. Now I find myself wondering if its all just some societal propaganda for the less fortunate to use as an elevation tool. Perhaps its real and allows you to build up before crushing you for all the damage caused. So yeah, I'm a little weary of it now-a-days.

Oh Yes! I do beleve in Karma, especially the instant kind. It never ceases to amaze me that when my work gets slow, and I start studying on when the next job will come in the door, it does.

But I still fall back on one saying told to me a long time ago.
"There is always work for those who want to work"
