It is my favorite breed. I have owned them since 1988 and have been studying their bloodlines since 2000!
I do the sport of weightpulling with mine. |

I had one from a puppy but he only lived to be 8
 He was the most friendly dog, the mutt of 2 mutts, but he got all the pit genes. Was the runt of his litter then turned out to be the biggest of all of them!

people can tell me all day how "misunderstood" pitbulls are but if one comes near me,it's last meal will be a bullet.i've never been around a non-aggressive one.same with chows,spitz,and dobermans

As far as big dogs go, I prefer German Shepherds.
Smaller dogs I prefer terriers. |

Smaller dogs I prefer terriers. people have always made fun of me for owning small dogs but for me,i don't need big dogs to protect me,i have guns for that. personally my favorite breed is Rat Terrier.they're some of the smartest dogs i've ever been around and make excellent hunting dogs,plus they're very very loyal. not saying that i wouldn't own a big dog.if i had kids,i would get a Great Perinese (sp?).they have it in their blood to protect children and livestock |

People always think 'Runt' means the smallest, which usually they are when born because they are the last to get the nutrients, but I too have seen many runts be the biggest out of the litter. Sorry about your puppy :( |

Try going to a dog sport. Pitbulls were bred to be dog aggressive... not people aggressive. Petey didn't eat the little Rascals. Also, All dogs are protective. I too would shoot any breed that came at me.. Now, I will agree there are a handful of 'aggressive' pits that you can't get near, or will bite their own owner. Dagger bloodlines. Also.. the word "Aggressive" is misunderstood. My pitbull better stop your azz at the door.. that's his job. secondly, My chihuahuas will bite before my pits will... go figure. I love Rat terriers too! Awesome little dogs! |

GORGEOUS!!!! He was totally trained.. big boned, larger muzzle...very handsome boy. |

I got 2 pitbulls and my 2 young nephews do everything possible to those dogs and they have never got aggresive with them. I don't kno how to post pics on here but I have pics of both in my profile
