Topic: are dating sites a complete waist of time?

Tell me your expeierences with dating sites..never been on any really...its just seems all so fake and scary...but just seems like a complete waist of time energy and effort...do dating sites really work? Please tell me your experiences

They have helped me to find friends; Communicate better and even dates.

I think they are a microcosm of real life. Except, they expose you to a wider world, you can have friends from anywhere. You interact as you would at your local pub. 'Where everybody knows your name." :-)
