Tired, old excuses.

There are plenty folks to do those jobs.

The Illegals are also in Halliburton, Tyson, Riata and many other made for American's jobs.

Find many "Americans" who are willing to do those kind of jobs for the wages they are being paid?

Ya want to get rid of "illegals"?

Fine the crap out of the millionaire "small businessmen" who hire them.

71% of Illegal Aliens have stated in a survey that if they could return Legal, they will Self-Deport; But Dems don't want to make Legal Immigration the Issue, they insist on Pathway for Illegal Immigrants; Inviting Even More Illegal Immigration.

I would let EVERYONE COME that doesn't have a Felony Record; Issue a Visa within 48hrs of applying.

Tens of thousands at US immigration reform rallies

Harath Andrade tells the BBC's Ben Wright: "If there was a system in place for immigration my dad wouldn't have to be facing this struggle right now"

Tens of thousands of demonstrators have rallied across the US in a mass call for citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants.

The co-ordinated protests were designed to press Congress to act as senators negotiate an immigration reform bill.

In Washington DC cheering crowds gathered outside the Capitol, and more than 1,000 demonstrated in Atlanta.

Lawmakers are expected soon to unveil a bill that would grant a path to legal status for undocumented immigrants.

The push for immigration reform follows an election in which Hispanic voters overwhelmingly supported President Barack Obama and Democratic candidates.

Most of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the US are Hispanic, and members of the Republican Party have acknowledged they must support some kind of immigration deal if they hope to win more Hispanic votes, analysts say.
'Jobless Americans'

On Wednesday, gatherings entitled Rally for Citizenship were held in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Atlanta and dozens of other places.

The demonstrators included farm labourers, domestic workers, union leaders and immigration activists.

"We won't win immigration reform just coming to Washington," said Ben Monterroso, of the Service Employees International Union. "We need to walk the streets all over the country."

Organisers in Washington DC said about 400 coaches brought people into the US capital for the rally in favour of immigration reform.

Democratic lawmakers, including New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez and Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez, spoke while Latino musicians Olga Tanon and La Santa Cecilia performed.

In the halls of the US Senate, a bipartisan group of senators is close to a deal on legislation that would require tough border security measures to be in place before undocumented immigrants could gain legal status.

It would also enable tens of thousands of legal immigrants to come to the US under a guest worker programme.

Groups favouring stricter immigration laws say the reforms under consideration would exacerbate financial problems for state and local governments and would lead to higher levels of illegal immigration.
Bill expected soon

"There ought to be a rally for the 20 million Americans who can't find a full-time job," Roy Beck, president of Numbers USA, said in a statement on Wednesday.

The bill is expected to be unveiled within days and it could proceed to a vote before the Memorial Day holiday weekend at the end of May.

The US has not undertaken a major push to reform the immigration system since 2007, when a bipartisan bill failed in the Senate.

In 2010, Congress debated but did not approve the Dream Act, which would have given legal status to some young immigrants who came to the US as children.

In June, President Barack Obama unveiled a programme to allow young undocumented workers who immigrated as children to apply for two-year, renewable visas. He has expressed optimism that an immigration bill could be passed in the first half of 2013.

The local farmers have told me this.
White man stop working in the fields and went after better paying jobs.
Black man stop working in the fields cause they don’t want to work their any more.
Latinos want to work in the fields.

I know it sounds races to some but I’ve seen more Latinos in the field.

Now many have just over stayed the Visa and I really don’t blame them for not going back to their country. Amnesty is not the answer and neither is a mass exodus of the illegal. Some say we should secure the boarder but do we really need to put a fence up through the middle of a town that sits on the US & Canadian border? Is require those people to show idea just to cross to go to work or see a family member?

Immigration policy needs to be reform. I remember hearing that on the form they have questions like “Are you a member of the Nazi party?” Would a member of a Nazi party even answer yes to that question?

Now I do think those that are illegally here need to pay a price. They should have a time period to apply for citizen ship, take classes paid out of their pockets, do some community service work and pay a few fees.

Most of them are just here because the American dream is important to them. I think it was a lady from Greece that is working at the famous wax museum that said, “America does not pressure you to live a certain type of life.” For many, only in American can they work hard and live the life they choose for themselves.

And we do want these hard workers come here. We want to keep the smart one to make new stuff to better our lives. We still need people to pick up trash and for many that is the foot in the door. One of the local plants was one of the best to work for. People would go out there and apply for house keeping just so they can have their foot in the door to work their way up.

No, I wasn't an amnesty supporter.
I just get tired of being accused of being called a racist, hater, anti-immigrant, etc.

I am very anti-illegal immigrant. Are you?

I went though the Expense & Headaches of bringing my Cousins & Families here Legally with the H-2B Guest Worker Program; they became to me More of a Family than my own Parents and Brothers after I was Dumped with my Aunt & Uncle at the age of 15 and Pregnant; helped me adjust as I didn't even speak Spanish at the time.

My Husband Loves them because they're Family, and with a third of Workers his Property Management Company can get the Maintenance work done in half the time; without as much Oversight.

As he had acquired a Small Farm a few years back and was unable to rent it out, and it was too far out of the way to Develop, putting them up there was a natural fit.

As they are Farmers by Trade, and there are no Rules that would Prevent them from farming at the Residence they were provided during their off time; for 15% of the Harvest at Market we've invested seed and other things so that the Farm may produce again. If nothing comes of it, we're out of the price of seed and a few other thing, my Cousins would be out of a few buckets of after work sweat; but if they produce (Like I'm sure they will) Everyone comes out a Winner.

The one true way to end the influx of criminal migration into our country is to bring back the Bracero Program.

John McLame and that fag Jeff Flake will just stab Arizona in the back like they did when they both bent over and took in the pooper from their true party, the liberal party by voting in favor of gun control.

Other than Being Pro-Illegal Immigration; What Forms of Legal Immigrations do you favor?

Or are you like the Racist AFL-CIO and Oppose ALL Guest Worker Programs?

actually my post was in reference to the true essence of what drives the anti immigrant debate, racism is at its core, Americans are not anti immigration, most are anti immigration towards dark skinned immigrants. There is a deep seeded fear among Anglo Americans of one day becoming a minority in a country perceived as a White nation. The "browning" of America is indeed at the core of this debate, especially among right wing elements and nationalists (racists). Most anti immigrant advocates are not anti immigration towards the largest immigration groups arriving from Albania, Boznia, Ukraine, newly formed former Soviet republics, Australia, Israel, Ireland, United Kingdom, France. The anti immigration sentiments are mainly towards immigrants of color.
