What would they do if someone were to come to school with a tattoo on their face?

not really an issue, my niece is a model, she had tattoos, but no agents ever saw them

there is make up to cover tattoos,,,,

But want would happen when say a teenager goes to school with a tattoo on the face and if it was of something that was controversial? Would the school then require that student to wear make up? I know one officer would like to do something about the students that have “tear drops” tattooed on their face as it means in some gangs as the number of cops they killed.

yes, I think they could require him to cover it up,,
I wonder what the courts will rule on it.

I really couldn’t see a school forcing someone to wear make up and that would be held up in court but the stranger things have happen.

A New York High School had a rather odd Writing Exercise that Some Refused to Comply with.

Students had to Read Nazi Propaganda and write a Paper on How Evil Jews Are.

With Everything coming out on Common Core, is it a Wonder that Parents are saying Not In My Child's School!!!

The words are written in crayon, in the haphazard bumpiness of a child's scrawl.

"I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure."

They're the words that Florida father Aaron Harvey was stunned to find his fourth-grade son had written, after a lesson in school about the Constitution.
Florida 4th Grader Brings Home Paper That Says, I Am Willing to Give Up Some of My Constitutional Rights in Order to Be Safer...paper

Aaron Harvey's son wrote as part of a school lesson, "I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure." TheBlaze has redacted the child's name.

Harvey's son attends Cedar Hills Elementary in Jacksonville, Fla. Back in January, a local attorney came in to teach the students about the Bill of Rights. But after the attorney left, fourth-grade teacher Cheryl Sabb dictated the sentence to part of the class and had them copy it down, he said.

Ive read no further information about the sentence the boy wrote or what the lesson involved,, BUT the nazi assignment was part of a program that requires students to be college ready

it would have been a better choice to let the students choose their OWN controversial pov to defend, but seems to me this was an assignment to teach about making arguments,, even when they are on the surface extreme or unpopular

in our school it was part of debating and we chose our own unpopular/controversial point of view, something we did not agree with ourself,, to defend

its a mohawk,,, school is for learning not for fashion statements,,,,

if its in the papers and the policies,, there is the choice to find another educational path
Its a mohawk, its a pony tail, its a shaved head, its a something I do not approve of . . .

It is a Typical excuse for ostracizing anyone different.

also known as keeping orderly and consistent expectations amongst students and a consistent learning environment

preparing for the real world, the real 'game', where people in power are free to do the same 'ostracizing' in their decisions to offer employment opportunities to others,,,

and also a way to prevent 'peer pressure', which is the way young people 'ostracize' each other for not being the same kind of 'different',,,,
