im new to this web site I send my email to someone I met here. but I have my doubts she say she in Africa.. is this a scam any feed back would help, if you been a victim explain how to warn others like me

Yeah I wrote to one and we exchanged messenger ID's.
Her ad said Lincoln Park, MI I thought cool next door to me. In our PM's she said she lived in Sodus Michigan, that's on the other side of the state. Then she says, but I am in England and need $300 to pay my hotel bill! |

Advice? Use some common sense.
If you were in dire straights in another country, you would not be on a dating site asking for help from strangers. That is someone taking advantage of the desperate and foolish. There are plenty of honest people here from all over the globe... just being in another country does not make them a scammer... but if they start bringing up money, well... put two and two together. |

Sam here is some advice... if the ad says one location and she/he tells you another location then adds in they are in another country and as soon as they say they need money!? Its a scam 100%
|

 Don't be distracted by scam artists. They are a dime a dozen. Learn to tell the difference. There are real people here. |
