Widower -- I guess it really depends on where your priorities lie. JSH is the best site I have found for making friends -- there are lots of great people here. The forums here are the most civilized I've run across (and I've been on quite a few sites with forums). The admins are the most approachable I've ever seen, and they are also the most responsive to questions and problems, and to dealing with site issues in a timely manner.

But I've accepted that I'm not going to find any dates here -- and that's not the fault of the site, it's a reflection of the local demographics, primarily, I'm guessing.

So, if I stick around, it will be for the friends and the forums. For dating, I will have to look elsewhere!

I think you should stick around a little longer.The friends you have made will miss you.It doesn't always happen when we want it to. Sometimes it happens when you least expect it.

gypsy, those pics are less than 6 months old, don't have the ability to send any from my computer had to use the daughters. they were sharp and clear on yahoo but in the transfer to here they were totally messed up. don't know where it happened but it is certainly not something I like.
