Distance is definitely an issue -- all the people I deal with regularly here are so far away -- and, even though there are hundreds, maybe thousands, nearby, I can't get any of them to talk to me.
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. I think 8 months of that sort of insanity is just about enough....
