So does it contain only spices or does it contain all the spices that there are? What spices do you add when you are cooking with Allspice?

When I make a Cinnamon Applesauce bread I add a little bit of allspice. Gives it a tiny variation from the stores. I also add Allspice to my pumpkin pies.

| So does it contain only spices or does it contain all the spices that there are? What spices do you add when you are cooking with Allspice? It's actually the dried, unripened berry of a Caribbean tree called Pimenta dioica. The 16th-century English named it 'allspice' because it combined the flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. | |
