Has anyone here used e-cigs to help quit smoking? I've tried the disposable ones but that could get expensive. I know they make ones with rechargeable batteries and refillable cartridges, it's just there are so many out there and would want to purchase a kit that works well and isn't crazy expensive. Anyone?

I quit a year and a half ago using those. My costs dropped from over $200 a month to $75 a month. I buy my cartridges from a place on line called Duo Pro. they work well.

I found this one to be pretty good http://vapurs.com/vapur-kits/ and it's not as expensive as some.. weird though.. they used to have a choice for strength level like 6, 8 or 24 mg nicotine.. but I don't see that now.. anywho.. good luck!!

Thanks for all the replies. It's nice to know it has helped some here quit smoking. I did some research and think I found what I want to get. It's a bit expensive to purchase the kit but after that, all you really need to purchase is the 'juice' which is inexpensive if you get it online.
The machine I want is called the 'Buzz Pro' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5A-Y-wZCH0 ...and the e-juice I want to try first is called 'Bobas Bounty' which is supposed to be very highly rated http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=399GvWa4uzA

I use the Ego E cig. You put the E liquid in it. I love it. I am completely off of cigarettes now and I don't stink or have to worry about the smoke, the tar or other's worrying about 2nd hand smoke

He said they worked very well, it was $10 for one, and I don't think he ever used it up. So then they do allow them on planes. I was wondering if they did. I don't smoke but I've thought about starting with e-cigarettes. I could get the buzz without the tar. Plus I would like to freak people out by smoking one in a non smoking area. LOL See how many people try to police me.

One gal was like "What is that?!? Does it get you high?" You meet some interesting characters using public transportation!

we have the disposable ones around here selling for about the same price ($10).. the only problem with these is there's NO nicotine, just a 'flavor' mist.. does yours have it? and if yes.. does it give you a mg option/choice at point of purchase? just curious how it works out your way..

The ones they sell here have nicotine. Here's the one I tried. It's called the Logic Platinum and does have a good flavor, it just doesn't last very long IMO and would get real expensive if you bought these all the time. http://www.gothamcigars.com/logic-platinum-full-flavor-disposable-electronic-cigarette.html
