some posts are long and tough to read. i use chrome and there is an extension called speakit. you can highlight text and your computer will read it to you. this has helped me be friends with txsgal for quite some time drinker

What a great way to handle a long post!
If I used Chrome, or had sound, I would use this
because Mods have to read it all.

I can think of no other way.
The good news is, when someone gang-bangs the
'Quote' feature, again and again, it can be ignored :-)

of course other people have funny things they do in their posts. i dont usually capitalize, use punctuation marks, or a period at the end of the last sentence i post. i noticed someone likes to "use" the "quotes" a lot. when try to "read" those posts, i "feel" like i have to "stop and ponder" the quoted words before i "can move on" reading. i guarantee i guarantee i will get hammered for mentioning that one

Unless the super long post is a scene by scene analysis of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers or Bloodsucking Freaks I'm not interested.

Same here. If I’m writing a long post I try to break it down into mini-paragraphs to give people a break while reading.

If the long post is written well, it won't be tough to read. Otherwise, I just skip it.

I also skip long posts. I believe a person can sum up their point with brevity, if not, I think they must have a hard time communicating.

I usually skip threads with several pages as well, because by then what else can be said? your voice gets lost in the riff raff.

The subject detects if something can be done in a small post.

I usually avoid long posts and profiles. I get to know a person through personal emails and later phone calls. It is more personal than reading a Long message for all people viewing.

Unless they write short posts, I tend to skip over those who don't use punctuation much, as their posts are difficult to read. I always wonder why people choose not to use punctuation in a place where writing is the way to communicate.
