As we travel this journey we take.
It is up to us if we make a mistake.
To correct the things we did wrong.
And learn from it to make us strong.
We all sooner or later must learn.
That in life we all end up feeling the burn.
At one time we end up with a heart.
That has loved then has been torn apart.
We all must take the time to tend.
To our hearts and give them time to mend.
It comes a time that you must reach that goal.
And be able to open your mind and your soul.
So we can let another come into our lives.
But until that day arrives.
We take one day at a time.
Accomplish the mountains we must climb.
We wipe away the tears.
Learn to deal with the fears.
We learn that everyone is not alike.
And learn not to reach out and strike.
For the things that at times we see.
They are not what they seem to be.
We learn about life as we go along the way.
There is always something new to learn each day.
So on this journey that we must go down.
Take the time and look around.
Learn to be a true friend.
And walk with them till the end.
