Any Cosplayers out there or people that like to make their own costumes? My first was really an alteration. The second was a bit of an alteration and create some parts from scratch. My third was completely created from scratch. All done with clothe. I would like to do an armor one but out of plastic and not cardboard. Does anyone know how do some make theirs using plastic?

It is and when you attend cons, it is like you are a movie star getting you picture taken with different people.
My first costume was James from Pokemon, second Guilmon from Digimon and my last was Lt Iba from Bleach. I want to do Guyver Unit 1 from Bio-Booster Armored Guvyer. |

The vagabond, Mugen from Samarai Champloo I would like to dress up as. I think he is cool.

It has been a while since I’ve seen that show. I might be able to buy most of the outfit but a few things you may need to make.

Iba? lol, he's cool... personally, i like kuchiki and kenny the best... I think there should be more episodes showing iba's fighting skills, and his bankai... |

I choose Iba because he was the one I closely look like. My hairstyle is similar to his and I just have to grow my sideburns and mustache instead of spending money on a wig. There are others I would like to do, but money is a factor.

I've made a Ghostbusters costume.
made all my own props for it as well. that's about it. although I did make Beefcake The Mighty's helmet from gwar and wear it to their concerts lmao |

What did you use to make the props for your costume?

for my ghostbusters costume.
I used welding goggles just added some pvc pipe for the lenses and a knob or two. for the ecto goggles. the pke meter I used a lint brush and made the wings out of wood and attached them to a cut up hanger inside the lint brush so they can move up and down. and added a face plate and all so it looks legit. nut I bought the mattel pke meter so I mostly use that now. um check out gbfans.com a lot of great ideas on there. and the beefcake helmet I used a baseball helmet cut it up and a lot of foam and bondo haha. dave brockie the lead singer of gwar told me he liked my work on it |

I cosplay! ...Well, sorta. I can't sew worth a damn and can't afford to order a costume.. so I'm stuck trying to thrift store it. I have a decent Omi Tsukiyono costume though, from Weiss Kreuz. Finally managed a good wig, so it's alright. XD
