Topic: Can't Believe How Many "Vague" Profiles

I usually don't pay much attention to profiles w/o pictures but thought I'd check some out. I was shocked and annoyed to find soo many profiles of women for interests and about say "tell you later" or don't have anything there at all. Also, no details often on smokes, drinks, has children,.... What's the point of having such a VAGUE profile-w/o any photo to boot? This feels suspiciously like spam to me.

Many Men profiles here like that as well. ain't THAT the truth.. oh well.. there ARE lots of REAL people on the forums so maybe that's a better place to check out.. I'm sure you'll meet some really great people! enjoy!

Disregard those and find some. There are lots out there who can catch your attention. Well i will also be suspicious if you still look at those "vague" profile. Haha. Joke.

They're just as valid as the others...It is called "Conversation." Interesting concept really, you gradually learn about someone...Builds a "Mutual" understanding and supposedly furthers the growth of the relationship. Down the road, when you have learned so much about each other...It is only a matter of time before the flame hits the wick and that s* goes up in smoke, enjoy the ride.

Well its only new for me.. guess I have to wait and see... But yes there are some spam profiles.. well its the internet.. there are bound to be a few fakers Cheers

call me Madamoiselle Vague previously having a detailed one, a less vague one, a funny one....none of that helped or mattered....

Many of those people might want to simply to check out the site. They may not want people to contact them, really. They might be here to look at others, not be looked at by others. Its like the people in the bar who sit quietly in the corner with subdued clothing, as opposed to the people who are really outgoing and put themselves in the center of things.

Its like the people in the bar who sit quietly in the corner with subdued clothing, as opposed to the people who are really outgoing and put themselves in the center of things. yes this is true, and there are others who used to be relatively forthcoming on here but had either incidents that prompted us to remove most personal info, or the profiles weren't helping and since they weren't having any useful outcome, decided we did not want our personal info "out there" on display without a good reason because of the degree of scamming that goes on.

hey everyone, appreciate the comments/feedback. I'm all for a great conversation, but no photo, only age...no info on if they smoke, have kids..... Will disregard them. I totally get it that some may be just seeing who's online and can't be bothered to put up a real profile. Have a great weekend! C
