day's done YIPEE  well.. it was done about an hour ago.. but I was on the phone with an old pal who just also happens to be my insurance agent who say's ya can't mix business with pleasure  AWEsome day outside today TOO.. was supposed to rain BUT.. it didn't.. yesterday's rain was good enough to cleanse my "pen" though.. man.. whoever tells ya God doesn't listen? probably either doesn't know how to ask OR.. doesn't really bother asking..  guess I just have mad communication skills huh  anywho.. how's everyone's Monday been..?? hmm.. maybe I should go mow that lawn now.. while the sun's still shinin.. later peeps

AWEsome.. I scored $50 while mowing the lawn
the kids had sold my old dishwasher to one of their pals last weekend and I hadn't given it a 2nd thought.. they came by earlier to pay and pick it up!! COOL AND.... I only got 1/2 the lawn mowed  took me about 1&1/2 hrs to FIX the friggen thing so I could USE it  it kinda looked like my youngest's bf tried to MOW my viney bush in the front.. dang vines were wrapped up in the pulley system that raises/lowers and engages the blades.. they were jammed in there pretty good AND the belt was unhooked.. the belt was the easy part.. the vines? not so easy.. anywho.. finally got it working but the rain was threatening so I didn't have much time.. oh..  it's a tractor/mower in case you were wondering it takes about 2 hrs to do the WHOLE lawn.. so hopefully it'll stay dry long enough for me to finish tomorrow.. here's HOPIN well.. I'm BACK on UK time so.. best get this tired butt off ta bed.. have a good evenin everyone!!

Do what you did. Sorry that you had to go through all that sis It's not fair to put you or your puppy through that and have to deal with the empty promises. Hoping puppy gets better soon  sis.. you know what my kids can be like at times.. good news is.. puppy's doing MUCH better.. as am I.. I soooo didn't want to get outta bed this mornin.. not only cuz it was Monday mornin 'n back to work, but MAN did bed ever feel GOOD!! I didn't get the basement done yesterday as I had hoped.. the kids came back and were packing and moving the rest of their stuff.. inCLUDing all the CATS downstairs.. I helped my youngest and stayed outta her bf's way for the most part.. they left me with MORE of a mess but although I'm peeved at that.. it's better than having to live with all the drama 'n BS.. speaking of kids.. how's yours doin?? She's doing good and living in WA is really agreeing with her. She's losing weight and is much happier.  But I miss her so much it isn't funny. |
