Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice....

OK, people,

Doesn't anyone remember the forum, "Ranting and the Truth"?
Bob got us all riled up, didn't he?

Now he's at it again.

And all of you have taken the bait like good little fishes.

And somewhere, Bob is laughing his ass off.

And when this forum loses steam, like the other one did...
He'll start another one.
And all of you will follow him to it and rant away.

So the cycle continues.....

Am I the only one who sees Bob for what he is?
He's an instigator. A humorous one, but still...

How do you deal with someone like that, you ask?
Simple: You IGNORE him.
People like that thrive on attention.
Same principle as those who start a post titled "I'm leaving this site...FOREVER!" when they have absolutely ZERO intentions of doing so.

Some wars simply aren't worth waging.

All this is is one big p***ing contest. And what do you get for winning one? That's right-a big ole plate of p***. And who really wants THAT???

I'd much rather discuss than argue any day.

It doesn't make sense?

Ok, let me break it down for you.

First, I objected the opening poster's statements about how Baking cookies are somehow "girly" by stating that I like to cook and bake. (not a good objection, but still)

Then I figured women might like a guy who is good at cooking and likes to do it, while at the same time stating that I AM good at it.

I hope that clears it up for you.

"one would think the ladies would like a guy would would make dinner most, if not all of the time because he likes it AND actually be good at it, thank you"

Would would? IS good at it...not be.

Please read what I write...then try reading what you write!

I was breaking down sentences when you were still learning your ABC's...apparently you're still learning.

1/3 cup butter
• 1/3 cup butter shortening
• 8 large garlic cloves, chopped
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• Frostings and candies for decorating if desired

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and shortening on high speed for 45 seconds. Add sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat until combined, scraping the bowl occasionally. Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in flour. If you can't get all of the flour mixed in with the mixer, then stir in the remaining flour by hand. Divide dough in half. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours.

On a lightly floured surface roll half of the dough out to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes until edges are firm and bottoms are lightly browned. Cool cookies on a wire rack then decorate as desired.

THERE! XD

i love a good laugh, and god, knoxman, you provide all the answers to me; geez, no wonder i am just a mere mortal and you are a god of wisdom...i do stir the pot; for good reason, if most of you looked in the mirror and realized how boring and mundane you have become, in fact and in reality, you might just say, you know, i do need to spice up my life, life a bit more on the wild side....but NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO...i gotta keep up my boring mundane apperance and play it safe...that my gurly boys and manly women, is why you will never get what you seek; if you are playing into my ego, even better...you gotta play to win, and most of you have already given up....oh and knox; there is no answer you can ever have to describe who i am; i will always be the one thing you are not; good at who i am and what i do...later

Think about it BOB, its in your best interest.flowerforyou flowerforyou

Good at what you do, Bob? Well, in another forum, you mentioned your desire to play "pocket pool". I (and the rest of us) will just have to take your word that you're the best at that. Hey, speaking of that, aren't you the four-time defending "fast fists of fury" champ?laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

In all seriousness, sir, you're exactly right. you are the one thing I'll never be.....

A TOTAL PHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topcat, we'll never make Bob mad. He's having the time of his life trading barbs with all us commoners. Bringing excitement to all our shallow lives.
He brings:
Help to the helpless
Hope to the hopeless
Hap to the hapless

Thanks to Bob, I now feel as if my worthless life has some form of meaning. Don't know what the meaning is, but I'm working on it!drinker drinker drinker drinker drinker
