A few days ago I met a new friend
Is what he's saying real or just pretend
Not really sure what to do or where to start
Seems to be the kind of man,I've wished for in my heart
I've let this happen to me once before
I'm not sure if I should open that door
It seems again to be going way to fast
Should I move forward and let go of the past
What if his feelings are sincere and true
Not really sure what I should do

So afraid it will just be torn apart
There's so many what if's.But what if he's the one
I ran so many times before,but the time I won't run
Because if I let it go,I will never really know
So I'm trusting in you and will let my heart go
Believing your words are what you really feel

As you so sweetly advised me, keep moving forward. You can learn to trust in time. Trust is something earned, and as I told my son, it is also something you can lose by the actions that you or another make. Don't give up. Take is slow. Let yourself trust, but make him earn it too!

One thing for sure one will never know unless they grab on and take the ride to see were it goes. I would rather mend a broken heart for then I know at least I knew what love was then to never experience love at all!!!!!!!!!!!
