This mutual match thing, it usually says you have a mutual match.Which I have already met some nice people.But tonight I got one that said, you have someone who would like to meet you. If you are interested change your prefrences,and search.Well I don't want to change anything,and I'm really not looking on there any more.Has anyone eles got one that said that?

I have gotten several of these emails: "you have (10, 15, etc.- some #) of new people who want to meet you."

My understanding is they are people you have not yet "rated".

For me, I did not want to flip through the mutual match pictures (for various reasons) so I have not "rated" anyone as "yes", "no" or "maybe". I believe what the emails are talking about is that these are people who stated that they would like to meet you but you have not "rated" them.

These people are waiting, I think, to see if you want to meet them under the mutual match system.

Why dont they just email you? I think some might, but others are scared, shy or only interested in meeting people who have already "accepted" them in some way- here under the mutual match system. And honestly, some may be only slightly interested- not enough to make a move on their own but enough to see what happens with the mutual match system.

Hi folks, I'm new to the site and my friend said to just respond to the topic. So here goes. I agee about the mutual matches. If someone is interested in us they should emial. I am not very computer literate so trying to figure out what I need to do is frustrating. Getting out there to find a date is hard enough. Let alone going through pages of yes, no maybe. Email, whats the worst that can happen. If the person doesn't email back try not to take it to heart. We are all here because we want to meet someone.

mutual match is weird upto this point, it is the victim of glithces, it might improve by the passage of time but not now.

If you think there's something not legit, report it to Mike and VC. Mike has told me that he wants to make sure sleaze sites and scam sites don't advertise here.
