---|---|
Being a good samaritan person all people are welcome to become my friends but there are some who wants to be more than of that...I dont mind when it comes to age but if i dont feel any contrast to that person I will directly say that we better off as good friends but some still insisting of something and said they are ready to wait-and if i dont have time to talk to them they feel bad and said "is it because they are old already I dont want to entertain them that i prefer younger ones which is not true......I dont know really how to handle it.....im just trying to be nice.........

Tessa,
In all seriousness, being 'nice' can sometimes get in the way of communication. There is no need to be mean, but being -very- firm and blunt (or Bl8ant) might be necessary. |

yep! you owe them nothing! I send a nice note back. Then you don't need to respond if they get pushy about it..

Just say NO... Believe me the world wont end for either of you and when did saying NO become... not nice?
It is only a choice... What is not nice is being put in a posistion that makes you feel uncomfortable........ thats not nice....... |

I just tell them that we have nothing in common and there is someone else I am interested in even if there is not and leave it at that if they will not leave it at friends like I ask

I can understand you not wanting to "hurt" their feelings, but most times it will be better for you. Just tell them how you feel and if they still don't get it...block them.

Form your lips into a semi- circle, put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and sound it out "N N N N O O O NN OOO NO"

Just be honest and kind which it seems that you already were. Try it again. If they refuse to respect your decision, then you may want to cut of contact.
