CNN's Piers Morgan appears to be attempting some sort of world record of ignorance on gun issues. He now claims, during a live broadcast, that "airplanes are gun-free zones" and that's why there are no shootings on airplanes. Apparently Morgan has no clue that thousands of pilots are armed while flying commercial airliners in the USA:

I dont listen to any of the commentators really, except colbert and stewart. I do however recognize that they are all entitled to opinions as are the people who agree with them. ANd someone legally in the country should be covered by free speech as much as any citizen,,,,just my opinion

You can feel any way you want about anyone. The reason I can't stand him is that he seems to be getting treated like someone special, as if his opinion counted for anything. It doesn't. He needs to go back to his own country and prostrate himself at the foot of the queen and get the hell out of our country where we still believe in the freedom to bear arms and protect ourselves from tyranny and freaks who think they are royal blood and better than everyone else.

Thousands of people died for this country's independence from England and we don't want the likes of him here telling us to turn in our guns. Oh they would love that.
