They are kinda silly as is anyone who believes these meters are a danger to their privacy.

The only difference is these can be read from the street by a wireless device instead of them having to come into the yard or having to search for them.

You are in the same "danger" from wifi.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH scaryslaphead

What's scary is how many people increasing accept bs like this even when it means going AGAINST the will of some people in order to make it happen (to say nothing of charging said people as well, basically stealing their money). It's one thing if someone CHOOSES these things, it's another when they are given no choice at all. To support such extortive tactics, is to support terrorism, point blank. No one should have a right to be FORCED to take something they don't want, I don't care who it is.

And then those same people who support this, wonder where their rights and freedoms went. Don't have to look far, looking right in the mirror will give them the answer, they gave them away willingly. They will have been their own worst enemies......

Facebook is doomed. They have lost millions of members. They have been cursed.

They are bad luck.

Their stock will crash.

They have sold out to the evil empire.

They have inherited a load of dark and evil Karma.

Everything is a contract. If they refuse the meter and it is forced upon them they can legally refuse to pay the extra fee for reading it. They will have to put their protest in writing and then make sure they do not pay that fee.

I agree with that, I have gotten extremely into the idea of common law (and for that matter natural law) rights for this purpose lately. I know we are under no obligation to pretty much any law we are told to obey. Problem of course is, most don't, much less do they know how to fight against the laws if they argue against them at all which again some do not, making their own graves.

This gladdens my heart like you wouldn't believe!! Natural law is the foundation of all real law and it is our ticket out of the mess the human animal has made for itself.

This meter issue is no different than any other issue, and one who knows law can stop these crooks in their tracks. It's all a matter of contract. Natural law itself is no more than the implied social contract, so it is fair to say that ALL law is contract.

TIP #1: "Law" and "contract" may be used synonymously such that simply playing with the word substitution can be very revealing.

The whole "battle" can be broken down into simply controlling the contracts that you make. Ensure that the contract is fair to all parties, and you'll "win" every time, because NOBODY can compel you to accept a bad "agreement"; you have to consent to be screwed.

TIP #2: NEVER argue...argument is an attempt to dishonourably create dispute....IF you don't fall into creating a dispute, you will never find yourself in a court defending your position.

TIP #3: NEVER "refuse": (refusal without cause is dishonourable) To refuse is to dishonour the other party and refusal gives him control of the "negotiations" (and hence the contract) as the only reasonable party.

TIP #4: Always accept (conditionally): By accepting, you are being agreeable and reasonable...In setting a condition to the acceptance, you are making a reasonable counter-offer to the offer of contract, (e.g. "I'll be happy to accept a new smart meter IF you can prove that it does not compromise my right to privacy, that the electrical field & radiation does absolutely no harm to people or other living things, does not cost me any money, since I didn't order it, and you are willing to give me a notarized statement that the utility company accepts all liability for compensation in the event these proofs and/or assurances turn out to be false.")

you permit them to know every website you ever visit
you permit them to know every movie you watch on cable television
you permit them to know with bar codes every purchase you make
you permit them to know who you call on your cellphone
you permit them to know everytime you go to sleep
you permit them to know what toilet paper you use
you permit them to know that special time of the month
you permit them to know who visits you

is there anything that you don't permit them to know?

If you keep them busy tracking your mundane day to day spending and activities, then they are happy.

It is better to look normal and blend in. (It is when you try to hide, that you will really attract their attention.)

1. If you pay cash and you don't show them your Alco card or your Safeway card, they can't track who made the purchase.

2. I don't think they know what I am watching on cable.

3. I don't use my cell phone for much at all. Its a throw-away pay as you go piece of chit.

4. They have no idea when I go to sleep.

5. They have no idea what toilet paper I use.

6. My special time of the month is when my SS check comes in. LOL

7. I don't get any visitors.

resistance is futile

1. If you pay cash and you don't show them your Alco card or your Safeway card, they can't track who made the purchase.

and you place a paper bag on your head so the cameras inside and outside of the place can't see you

2. I don't think they know what I am watching on cable.

if your cable box know...they know

3. I don't use my cell phone for much at all. Its a throw-away pay as you go piece of chit.

Its called retirement and they took money out of my paychecks all of my life for that purpose. I had no choice in the matter. Damn right I'm getting it back. I'll probably not even live long enough to get it all back.

Not to mention the withholding taxes they took and kept all year long without paying any interest back to me for the overage they took and kept all year.

I don't have a 'cable box' so they don't know what channels I watch on television.

The accuracy of facial recognition software is propaganda. It doesn't work well anyway. When I renewed my drivers licence they took my picture and because my hair was different and I had no make up on their software could not even verify that I was the same person. I had to go home and get my birth certificate to get my licence replaced.

Any actual person looking at the two pictures could tell I was the same person. Their computers couldn't do it, so I'm not that worried about facial recognition programs or security cameras.

They only know what I permit them to know.
