Well. I had brussel sprouts for lunch (in olive oil and garlic.) So, I am feeling a wee..light. Like I need to tie this balloon down before I slip away to the cosmos.

Thank you, Kik. Yes, it's for my eyes. This is a follow up to the vitrectomy with retina reattachment surgery that I underwent back in July. Both my eyes have retinal detachments, one has a 'buckle' to keep it attached, put in by the surgeon who invented it. Piece of cake. Never felt a thing. Course, the goo that has to be applied after is no fun. But 20/20 vision is :-) Best of luck dude :-)

Bored out of my everlovin' mind. Seriously. I've been at work for four hours, and they've given me twenty minutes' worth of actual work to do. I found another fifteen-minute task on my own, but so far it's a "hurry up and wait" kind of day. Dear heavens, why can't I have a job that's actually interesting and mentally stimulating?

I'm developing cataracts in both eyes. Probably have to schedule cataract surgery for my right eye once I have the operation on my right eye Wednesday.

That soon? Wow and ouch. They say it will be 10 years before I have cataract surgery at the rate mine are growing, they're just seeds right now. I don't look forward to it!

I don't blame you. I know some people that have had cataract surgery. They say it's not that bad. Like I've said many times, my vitrectomy was painless. You'd think a procedure where needles are stuck in the eye would be excruciating. Thank God for anesthesia, I reckon.
