I would enjoy receiving a heart felt poem. Really its nice. When younger I've written a few put lot of thought into them.and the few people that received them i felt genuine about them. A real deserved poem is a good thing to receive.

Depends on when it is given and why. If it is too early in the relationship it may come off as being lame, or just another come on type line. Knowing the right time to release those feeling thru poetry to your mate is just as important as what you say.

I like it when a person expresses themselves well.
The form doesn't matter as much as the meaning and intent. Honesty seems most important to me... Catch my intention... and I'll do my best to learn/realize your way of communicating. |
