Mingle2 is not just for those of the Ming dynasty or followers of those against Flash Gordon. Some aliens like having friends. Dating can be scary; I would rather just mingle.

So what should you do to the people whom you started talking to but there wasn't any romantic spark, but you enjoy the conversations? Should you tell them you will no longer talk to them because this isn't a "friendship" site, in your opinion?huh

We date to become close enough to create a strong loving relationship not a friendship, sometimes i feel people use that term to leave a doorway to get out of ralationship, and not have honor to tell the truth'''

Now, my opinion: In actuality, i do just walk up and ask a total stranger out in public. If i see someone attractive that i may be into, i approach them and make conversation and possibly ask them out on the spot. "Would you like to have dinner with me sometime?" I dont think this is out of line. When on a date, "getting to know one another" Thats where you figure out if youll fall under the friend catagory or possible relationship. People please, politeness has become so rare that some people mistake it for flurtation.
