I met two great ladies that have become very good friends through these forums. Neither of them are on Mingle anymore but I still talk to both of them daily.

Best way to meet someone from this site or any site is look for those that are local...Set up a meet within a week over a soda don't have to be dinner ect... Once you meet them talk to them in person if it is all good ask them out on a actually lunch date or meet some where fun to see how things go then take if from there...
Unless you want to do the LDR where it is months before you meet them then get to know them. Look out for the scammer issues if they are legit then by the time you meet them you should know them pretty good. Not saying just because you click on the phone ect you will click in person.... Many times it is not the same in person as it is online and the phone... Do what feels comfortable to you....myself I prefer local so I can meet them within a week or two..and see if we have the mutual feeling of wanting to meet again..

If that is what men think they really want, I say more power to them. Women could finally be rid of their constant need to have a servant and sex slave, and then women could use their superior intelligence to take over the world. Men could be used only for sperm until women perfect cloning without it.  |

Be yourself. You can play a role online all you want, but that is something that is emotionally draining to maintain, especially if you do meet someone.
Communicate clearly - don't say you are looking for a relationship when all you want to do is sleep with her/him and move on to the next person. Open yourself up to the possibility of a great non sexual relationship with someone - takes off the chains of limitations of what we want in a partner and opens your greater world view. Travel - Take a trip to see something new and if in the process you have dinner or meet someone from the site then that is a bonus. Treat her like a lady - yes there are some that women that don't like this approach but the old ways still work the best. Treat her like a princess even if she will never be your queen. |
