Yep; I would date myself because I am not needy; not demanding, completely honest, not controling, would accept the person for who they are; don't believe in Gender roles, and believe in giving my partner lots of freedom to spend time with friends or their own hobbies. I also will not get upset in my partner said no if there are certain things they really don't want to do.

I think what she means is if you saw someone on the streets looking like a slouch with bad manners, lazy, mentally unstable and basically a scrub would someone be smart in dating that kind of person. Well if you’re like that, why not get yourself on track first then look to finding someone else.

I'm a work in progress... while I was unemployed last year I stopped for a while to look for a job so when I got me another job I started back up. I still have some debts to pay for and I'm not driving my car yet... since my layoff but I'm better off than I was last year with basically nothing but hope and desperation.

I'm already dating myself and I'm running out of things to do! lol, jk! I think it's important to take yourself on a date, be comfortable with your own skin sort of speak? Learning to enjoy who you are and the things you like to do on your alone time. I'd rather date someone who is comfortable with who they are then someone who pretends to know who they are!love

The problem with dating myself is that I keep fighting with Me, myself, and I. The 'I' usually gets in the way.

Me: Go take a shower
Myself: Heck no!
I: Okay, you get none tonight.

Funnily enough, a friend of mine and I were having a similar conversation the other day.
Her theory is in order for there to be a balance, I should date someone of an opposite personality type, or as she so kindly put it; someone "normal". So the consensus is no, I cannot date myself; which is kind of disappointing since I think I'm awesome
