Posting in the threads gives you a chance to get to know people and for us to get to know you.

I think if you've interacted in the threads with someone then they may be more likely to respond to your email - because they already 'know' you.

It seems like a fairly common comment though. Lots of emails go out and many go unanswered.

My opinion is I feel better getting to know someone after they post in different forums, and not just the sex ones either. This way I can get a sense of who people are, how they treat others and where they are coming from...

If you're looking primarily for intimate encounters, I'd suggest you check out AFF. This site is more geared towards dating and relationships as well as friendships.

Keep posting in the forums here and give people a chance to get to know you. Unless you show up with a KFG bucket on your head or an accordion strapped to your back, I doubt you'll be rejected indefinitely.
