They have to be conscious.

They have to be sober.

if you mean as in a relationship ?.

Then well many a few things.

But mainly something in comment is a start.

Being able to laugh and have fun.

and enjoy one another company.

And who knows what else. but I guess that is a start.

I actually have two lists, a "Must Be" and a "Must Not." Neither is very long, but by combining them together, I can effectively eliminate 99.9999% of everybody in the world. That just leaves a few dozen Russian scammer girls, and that's really all I need at this point.

I think in todays world we judge to much and just go by attraction. Even if they're pretty on the outside they still have to maintain it and we all get old eventually.

Don't hurt
Don't do drugs!!!

Emotionally stable for 1 :) Haha. I love you, I hate, I want to marry you, can we just be friends, etc. Someone who can make up their mind and not make people crazy in the process.

2) Attractive - To me at least. This could be physical or personality wise. Always good to have both

3) Honest.

4) positive - A complainer, no :). In other words, someone pretty good at making lemon juice! :D

One note though...

No one should have too long of a list. That's like hunting for some kind of perfection. Rules will be broken and what a lot of people forget about relationships is that people are people and will make mistakes. An important part of any relationship I think is the ability and willingness of both parties to work through each others shortcomings even when your lover and best friend stumbles.

Ps. As long as it doesn't degenerate into the "Same sh*t different day!" scenario!!! :)

After I had my Student ID made the other day I can honestly say, without a doubt, YES!

someone who loves me even with all my faults...

someone who I am psychically attracted to....

Someone who has a job

Someone who is not lazy

Someone who doesnt mind that I am a terrible cook

Someone who knows how to cook

Someone who is not addicted to drugs etc

Someone who loves my child and cats as I do

Someone who knows that and accepts the fact that my cats are also my children

Someone who will drive my car for me in the snow and not make me feel bad because I am terrified of driving in the snow
