You see I never thought that someday.
I would be here locked away.
From anyone that was real.
And I could no longer feel.
This heart that at one time had needs.
For now it only bleeds.
For now it thinks of how much.
Just to have someone to touch.
How sweet that would be.
It seems that I will not see.
This thing we think of.
That thing we call love.
For it is not for me to see.
I think I have finally lost the key.
For no longer do I see the day.
That love will come my way.
No longer will I look.
As I decide to close the book.
For I no longer dare.
Try to open my heart again and care.
The reasons are gone.
I start to feel withdrawn.
As I go back into the dark.
For love has lost its spark.
No reason to proceed.
Just so someone can mislead.
So you see today.
My heart has gone away.

You need to find that key,once again.And believe he's out there ready to let you open your heart again.Maybe we will get hurt again.But what if we don't open up again.We could be letting that perfect one walk out the door.

Yes this spark would ignite.
That sun at night.
For it would only take one flick.
It would start the flame and light up this wick.

It would shine though out the night.
And still be burning at the site of sunlight.
Even though my words in the poems say I do not care.
Nor will I ever again dare.

Take the chance and open up my heart.
Because I’m afraid it may be torn apart.
Even so it will mend and even I can see.
One must open there heart and agree.

For if you let your heart turn to stone.
You will live your life alone.
That is not the life I want for me.
That is not the way I want it to be.

I want to love with all my heart.
To have that love that will never part.
In reality I can not wait till that love comes my way.
To have the kind that will be here and will stay.

*hehehehe* Frank I have never tried to out run any aspect of life it will come when it is ready not when you want it to. For everything in life that is worthwhile no matter how big or small it is always worth waiting for.

those are easywords to say gal, but harder to believe in and to keep moving along.

Slow my friend, I have been were you are now. And believe it or not it does get easier does not always go away sometimes untill you find someone that will take your mind and heart another path.

I know that don't like much encourgement. But in time things do get better. Our hearts are in no way like a light switch were you can turn it on then off again at times that would be nice but its not possible.

So just give it some more time.

Not saying you will not feel at times your all alone for we all feel that way.

Why do we fall in love and say our heart is broken, and why do we take it so hard, why, is it because we want to, and do, give love our all, we can't do this anymore, it is even more than unconditonal, my sister tells me I am selfish when I suffer, because I hurt people that love me, by my hurt. Unconditional love is only loving that person, all that person, realizing their imperfections are as beautiful as their beauty, but it is NOT losing yourself to their love, if you think about it, that takes away the love, it turns into aspects of emotions that drains the "heart", I've learned this from you guys, from your words, from the books of your hearts.

jimz it seems we learn so much as we age if we are willing to open our minds as well as our hearts.

Now Denes, do you not know me any better than that? I may say I'm shutting the door throwing away the key to never find it again. Yes at the moment that is how I feel for at times just like everyone else I wonder why I even bother too look or even try. Or why do I open my heart? Truth is I don't open my heart it opens on its own and will always no matter the past pain for that will mend in time you take the time you need to then you welcome others in again. I'm not one that can click that switch and turn my love off. But.................I'm one that no matter what happen in the past I can get over it past it learn from it don't mean I like it but I don't look at the next and blame them for my past only what they themselves do.

So see there is no way for me to close my heart I'm too much of a dreamer in order to do that. But when I do love I love with all my heart not part or half of it. It's all of it and never crosses my mind to be with another. No matter what. So guess my heart seems to have a mind of it's own.
