It takes two for things to happen for better or for worse but we all have to start somewhere even if it is just a hi how are you. Ladies you should give the guys a little respect for contacting you at least. Guys this goes for you to the ladies on here deserve just as much. I guess all i am saying is RESPECT goes a long ways.

I answer all messages that are normal messages. I've made a couple of friends on here already. But then, I am not on here just for the forums.

I'll answer almost all the messages I get now (non sexual), other than maybe the ones that look like scammers, ya know the ones that spell worth a hill of beans, I can do a typo or 2 but when everyother word, even the simple one r mis-spelled.... eh
Heck, I even had a guy "wink" at me and then "kick me in the butt" and I still messaged him.... WTF? What I hate is when a guy messages me and I can seem to engage him in a conversation at all! Its like pulling teeth to get more than a 1 or 2 word answer, that gets frustrating after a while. |

I've heard women on another dating site saying that they get so many messages that they don't have the time to reply to all of them and that they don't reply when they aren't interested because if they do they can get a lot of abuse back from the guys saying that they were leading them on by replying and then saying that they aren't interested in dating them.

I answer and reply any messages I get and the type of replies I send depends on the type of approach I get. So if ladies just wana chat then thats fine too ewe are all here to make friends and get to know each other so its important to keep that in mind when contacting someone??? Thats just my opinion??? :)

People can't complain when we don't answer and then complain if we DO answer but do not want to take it to the next level... it can work both ways - that happens to women to - that not all the guys we talk to are planning to date us. |

When a guy contacts me and starts right out with "I love you, dear," then I ignore him to death. Sorry, but that doesn't get any respect from me.

I do tend to say little more than Hello and that I would like to exchange a few emails if they want to, and then thank them for at least reading my email. In the hope that I can send more information when and if they reply, there is some more about me in my profile for them to read if interested. The initial contact is always difficult in my opinion.
