being single sucks...looks gd but isnt...laying in bed alone and wishing someone was there to cuddle and at times make love sucks when nobody wants you so as i say again being single sucks

Being single is the greatest thing in the world cause you got no one to nag the heck out of you.

Look on the bright side, you can eat whenever you want. You don't have to worry whether you'll wake them up during the night if you need the bathroom. You can clean round when you choose. You get to choose what you buy for your home.

I enjoy being single for the most part. No one else to worry about. I dont have to share the remote. Lol :) I can leave my dishes dirty or stay out all night with out calling home. But I do miss the security of just having someone their to confide in or smuggle with at 3 a.m. when you cant sleep.

If I need someone to snuggle with my stuffed animals usually do the trick

When you had someone really great but it didnt work out between you, you get really lonely when you remember the great times you spent together. Humans are social animals and being single isnt really healthy...

Humans are social animals and being single isnt really healthy... I disagree that it isn't healthy to be single. Its all in what you make it. If you go home every night feeling sorry for yourself that you are lonely; yeah I suppose it could be unhealthy but if you take time to enjoy life; take in new experiences; you can have a very happy healthy life. Not all humans are social as we do have our hermits and they are people like my brother for instance that simply doesn't like having people around him. To each his/her own I say. |

I'm torn on this issue as I like the freedom of being single but miss the companionship of being with someone.

Being single is fun for the first twenty or so years, after a while though, it starts to get to where you look back fondly onto your past horrible relationships and think "that sucked, but it was still better than this."
