I think its important to laugh and get along enjoy the same things...naturally. however i cant truly do any of those things unless i am able to be myself. So id have to say acceptance and understanding make me feel warm... I miss that :(

I am attracted to those who seem to have a natural knack for trying to make others smile (and not at the expense of anyone else) those warm spirits are rare, and I feel blessed when we cross paths,,, I turn cold around those who constantly belittle others or boast about themself those who do both,,, nearly make me want to puke

Different things attract me to different people, some share my same sense of humor, some have common interests or similar tastes, others share all of it, and some are enigmas. It's this for me as well. Different traits warm me to different people.

I am attracted to women who are compassionte about others, who don't look for approval from anyone to justify who they are. Their faces are happy, they feel blessed, and it shows. Radiant eyes, and an independent spirit.

What warms me to people? First seems to be wit/intelligence. Not just humor but thinking-person's humor (whatever the definition of that might be). Second is kindness/consideration. What cools me off is arrogance and overcompetitiveness. Also moral cowardice. I have to agree with Wux that "genuineness" is overrated. Some people genuinely don't like other races or genuinely don't believe in paying their taxes. I'm still not going to want to be friends with them. Cats are a good example. They genuinely don't care about your feelings, but they understand reciprocity in relationships. I had one that was kind of wild once (had spent a year on the street and the next year in a shelter, and when I got him didn't know that beds were for jumping on). I explained to him that I would be gentle with him and in turn he should be gentle with me, and by George he kept the deal. A year later he was letting a room full of grade schoolers play with him and was very patient about it. He may genuinely not have enjoyed it much, but he'd learned how to behave well. I have yet to see a person adapt so quickly.

Seems like ninety percent of people list humor as a big turn on. So that's what most of us are looking for in life, to be entertained?
